One very special day in a person’s life is their birthday. It symbolizes the day they were born, also, in my opinion, it gives them a sense of belonging, a purpose, if you will, on the course on which their lives will go. Sure there are the parties, presents and things like that, but the overall view I have on a Birthday is that it’s the beginning of life, and from that moment on, it’s a choice on which path that life will take you. As I look around at my classmates, me being much older than they are, I am proud to see a young generation take the path of higher education, and make something of their lives.
