A picture that i just had the pleasure of viewing brought back memories of a department store from many years ago. On South Main St. in Fall River Mass. was a store known as McWhirr’s. As you walked into this store you were greeted by the the smell of new clothes and merchandise. It had all the elegance of old 18Th century decor, right down to the music that played. At Christmas time we could take the elevator, which had a man running it, to the toy department on the 4Th floor (I believe) to visit Santa Claus. Just seeing that picture brought back some very old memories of a beautiful store that I remember from so long ago.

The key for being a success is to put forth 100% into what ever we do though out our life. If total effort is achieved in the beginning, this would make the tasks that lay before us in life so much easier. When our college careers are over we and enter the work force, the efforts that were put in place in school will follow us into the working world which would make life stress free, uncomplicated, and over all very successful. I find that listening and doing work that is assigned correctly the first time, that we shall persevere in all life’s journeys.
Bass Guitar February 7, 2008

The Bass guitar might be one of the background instruments, but it, besides the drums, provide the beat as to which has people moving on the dance floor, tapping their feet, and overall gets their heart thumping. When I was younger, I had taken lessons and have played in bands. Playing the bass was one of the happier times in my life gone past. Standing up on the stage in a club, or in an Auditorium playing, watching the people dance to the sounds coming out of the band is one of the most euphoric feelings one can experience. Maybe someday I will pick it up again and try to emulate those long past years.
