Aside from the heart being the vital organ in your body that supplies life’s blood, heart can be used in a few different non physical ways. My favorite use for the word for an example is, “I have a warm feeling in my heart for you.” Now my physical heart isn’t warm, it’s used as an expression of fondness or love for someone, an emotion. Another way to use the word heart as an emotion or a way to express ones self is, “I don’t have the heart to tell him that he failed.” Heart is also a shape that is associated mostly with Valentines Day, a day reserved for love.
